Driver Stops to Pay Toll While Fleeing Police in Malaysia
A Malaysian van driver led police on a 25km chase, stopping at a toll booth to pay before fleeing again and eventually being arrested.

A 41 year old van driver in Malaysia was arrested after leading police on a 25 kilometre chase from Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, to Cyberjaya, stopping at a toll plaza to pay with his Touch 'n Go card before fleeing again.
The pursuit began on October 31, 2026, when police attempted to stop the driver for using his mobile phone while driving. He reportedly made a U-turn and accelerated away, triggering a police chase.
During the pursuit, the driver stopped at a toll booth to pay the fee. However, when an officer approached the van, he accelerated through the toll barrier and continued fleeing.
Police eventually intercepted and arrested him in Cyberjaya. Reports said the van collided with multiple vehicles during the chase, while a preliminary urine screening test reportedly returned positive for methamphetamine.
